Hello,
I'm planning a trip to Valencia, between 25 Sep-02 Oct, so I would like to know what are my chances to enjoy a day @ the beach.

There are a lots of great beaches in and around Valencia. This is guaranteed. What is not and will have to be a matter of concern might probably be the weather as it normally rains towards the end of september. With the weather going haywire due to the climatic change there have been years that the summer heat goes on till well into october, so I hope you are lucky. In no case do I want to spoil your days in Valencia. If the weather is good apart from the locations very well suggested by Pedmar you have many other options, Cullera, Gandia and other good beaches.

It is the central square in Valencia with palms and big fountain. It is the city government’s building in this square. There is the Museum of the history of Valencia inside the city government’s building. I liked Plaza Ayuntamento because its majesty. Sidewalks from marble tiles, beautiful buildings and big fountain make this place unforgettable.
Even in Feb the weather was lovely and warm.It was about 20c every day.It was warm enough for t-shirt and it was warm enough to sit outside and eat.Calpe has everything you might need.Here is the villa we stayed at,so quiet and scenic.A real getaway.

A natural park, comprising one of the biggest bodies of freshwater in Spain. It is located just south of the city of Valencia. Its the place to see the many migratory birds and waterfowl, along with many rare plants at this picturesque location.
While we were there we did a boat trip out onto the lagoon, seeing many Herons and different species of ducks.
Probably the most lively street in Valencia, if you go out at night, you'll end up here sooner or later. Crowded at night, this street deserves also a visit by day to admire its beautiful buildings...
