Walk and walk, many things to do in Valencia. Visit the beach, La ciudad de las artes y las ciencias, Pza de la Reina, have apertivo in El Carmen area, enjoy tipical dish: paella and have fun at nigh going clubbing! Valencia is a really nice city to walk and this is my best memory: walking in Valencia with the sun shining in October, streets full of colour in El Carmen, nice dinners and my friends!
Dance the feet off
by Lalique
The idea was to visit Valencia especially on the 9th of October, becasue I read in the guidebook that Dionysiacs would take place but instead, we witnessed a contest of dancing schools of the region. I was amased that in the mid of a business day the city was buzzling not only with tourists but with lots of locals too....
We enjoyed the dancing and singing a lot, spaniards are great in keeping the traditions of folk art.

A sweet: pumpkin and almond pastries (pastissets d'ametla)
You can find lots of this shops on the streets during the festivals.
I am afraid we did not try them as Amelia was feeding us too much lol
Botanical Gardens

All the times I've been here, I haven't met a single tourist, but I don't know, such things can always change. Anyway, I like going here for the peace and quiet and of course, the eautiful plants. It's also a nice place if you want to avoid the sun for a while. The park also houses a number of stray cats, some shy and some really friendly.
General nightlife in Valencia
by LuigiMS about Amusing and lively nights.
Valencia has got the most well-known nightlife in big Spanish cities. The Valencian people mood, character, and behaviour, the traditions and the weather, invite everyone to go out and not to stay at home at night on weekend.
So, night traffic on weekends it's nearly like any weekday: dense yet fluid.
And many young and not so young people walk the streets going by to their fun places.
