I am a regular visitor to the Costa Blanca, over the past years i have visited most of the coastal resorts and I have no doubt in my mind that Villajoyosa is the most quiet and relaxing coastal town on the Blanca but it is also great if you have kids as Benidorm with all it's attractions is only 10 mins down the road and after spending the day in hectic Benidorm with the family you can come back to the peace and tranquility which is Villajoyosa. Beaches are clean, sandy and not to busy, plenty of cafe,bars and restaurants and for the energetic there is a good gym by the port. Must visit is the chocolate factory and for those of you who like a flutter the casino is a must.

What to say about my home town?
At Villajoyosa, also known as La Vila Joyosa, life continues to revolve around the sea. With its Moors and Christians festivals, featuring a spectacular unload, and its busy fishing port, it can truly be said to be one of the most picturesque and enjoyable places to visit on the Mediterranean coast.
12 km. of coastline, 3.5 featuring blue-flag beaches like the leading Playa del Centro and El Parais. Coves with clear, transparent water. An extensive sun and fun lineup in this beatiful town.
Colourful façades, so fishermen you clearly see their property from the sea, the ancient walled town, the fish auctions, the Moors and Christians fiestas, declared of international tourist interest.. These and much more make La Vila a peaceful place to rest and enjoy real life quality.
