barajas-valladolid?

by mufagufa

Hi everyone,
Is there a direct bus(or train) from Barajas to Valladolid.
If not what's the best and cheapest way to get from Barajas to the nearest bus or train station where i can find a bus to Valladolid?

Thanx!

Main bus station for buses to Valladolid is Estación Sur at Méndez Alvaro (metro station has same name). Don't know about the airport.
Timetable at http://www.estaciondeautobuses.com/frameset.html - seem to be about hourly.

Travel Tips for Madrid

Alcalá

by Malecka

A walk through Alcalá – take your time and just absorb the sight of the wonderful buildings found on this huge street. From the Plaza de Cibeles we walked to Puerta de Alcalá. Ok, stand in any corner of the Plaza! In the middle of a busy day! And just feel the energy... (I get carried away - I know)

Bullfighting

by CliffClaven

Old Cliffie does not want to start an argument about the contentious subject of bullfighting. But those who wish to experience the atmosphere, the pageant and the fervour of bullfighting would do well to start at Las Ventas, Madrid's monumental 'plaza de toros'. Do your homework first by reading about the history and traditions of bullfighting. And then spend an afternoon at Las Ventas, and decide for yourself what you think about it all.

Authentic tapas in El Rastro

by agarcia

El Rastro. The famous Madrid flea market. The real “off the beaten path” experience is to not shopping at all and expend the Sunday evening tasting tapas in the countless bars of the neighborhood. The perfect activity for a sunny Sunday afternoon!

Outdoor cafe - malsasña style

by Lorro about Plaza Dos de Mayo

Plaza Dos de Mayo is the heart of the Malasaña district and Madrid´s alternaitve scene and in the summer its a great place to sit at one of the outdoor cafes (if you can find a free table) and have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. The crowd is mainly 30s and under but everyone is welcome. There are lots of cool bars around this area too. Its not very touristy but very popular with the young and the hip from here and all over. However you want
