Fair price, fair hotel and room.
Staid here for three days. It was close to where I had to be, so the location was good for thát reason. For general tourists I would not recommend it, for it is not close to the city center and you have one or two transits on the metro to get there.
For €35 per night I had three beds (a double and one high) and a nice room. No breakfast (read it wasn't splendid anyway). You have to eat outdoors in Spain too. It's good foor for a good price if you have something nice around.
There was an odour coming from the shower.
Unique Quality: Good price and still clean and nice.

Great value, no frills, Madrid Hotel.
Comfortable, clean but compact, room which could sleep up to 3 people with a shower, toilet, and satellite TV. Optional help yourself breakfast buffet(!) cost around 4€. 24 hour reception with over night security door entry. Only thing was they had no safety deposit box facilities.
Unique Quality: No frills hotel but easy to get to from the airport. The number 200 airport bus only makes 3 stops. If you ask off at the first, Canillejas, here you find the no.5 metro line. (2 stops from hotel i.e. no metro line change) The road at Canillejas is being upgraded at the moment but by 2009 it should have a better path link from bus stop to metro.
