I went to the web site, could not understand the words and I could not find a english version site.. not sure if I need to buy ticket or I can just visit the temple for free
It is an Egyptian Temple in the park (Parque de Rosales,).

Plaza de España, although you can walk from Opera, crossing Plaza de Oriente enjoying the Royal Palace

It used to be my fav area to watch the sunset when I was living in Madrid. Plan your visit to be around there at that time of the day.

Yes, I kind of blew it off my first 4-5 trips to Madrid and then I decided to check it out. It is very cool. You can get some cool pics. It also has a sense of tranquillity in a busy city. Karl

The entrance Temple of Debod is FREE (not much to see there anyway, but it's interesting if you have never seen an Egyptian temple)
the HoHo bus in Madrid of course is not free and it does NOT include free entrance to museums

the Madrid Card includes transport (including the HoHo bus) and museums/sites entrance (but it's so expensive I doubt is worth it unless you are going to many museums... and giving you can visit some museums for free at certain days/hours)

The Education Faculty in Madrid has built a new building destinated to teach people who want to be teacher. As every time there are more and more persons who want to do this career, the Complutense University has ampliated their classes. The photo has been taken in the office with some of my friends there.
If you feel like rowing in a little boat, you can come to the Retiro Park and enjoy a nice time here.
Go to the main pond (the one with the big horse statue), and head towards the yellow building with columns at the left. There you have a ticket box. It costs 3,80 euros for 45 minutes. Only 4 persons allowed per boat.
It's a perfect plan if you go with kids.
this bull fighting arena is build in neo-mudejar style. dating from the twenties of the 20 th century. it has arches and decoration tiles. outside the arena there are two statues of bull fighters, as well as a museum with a lot of bullfighting memmorabilia.
The Cine Callo is found on the Gran Via along with other wonderful architecture along this strip. It was built in a Classical style between the years 1925 to 1927. Originally designed as a twin theatre. During the 1950’s/1960’s it was redesigned in more of an Art Deco style which was in keeping with that era. The cinema is open from Monday to Sunday 4.00pm – 10.30pm.
