La castellana in Granada ( there are four of them, I personally recomend the one on Plaza Nueva and the one on Angel Ganivet)
Price:Quite cheap
Atmosphere: friendly and personal. Nice decoration. The meat and sallads and tapas, good wine and excellent beer.
You have to try their fantastic sandwiches.
my family(of 4) planning to Stay at Hotel Ganivet in Madrid. How is the hotel ? is it in a good/safe location ? is it close by to the tourist sightseeing places in madrid.
What is the best way to get to the hotel from Airport (arriving round 5pm). I saw a posting recommending to book aerocity Shuttle. Family of 4 with luggage.

planning to do a Day trip to toledo on a Sunday. Staying near Madrid airport. What are my options ?? take AVE ?? but then I need to take metro to Atocha right ?

Hi
You can take a taxi for around 20 euros. Estimated journey time is 20 minutes. Time and price depend on traffic of course.
oh, Taxi cost from Madrid to Toledo is just 20euros ?? I am assuming this is for all 4 of my family or is it 20 per person ? If that was the case, I can take a taxi from my hotel Ganivet in central madrid to Toledo.
How safe are the Taxis ??

No this is from the airport. 4 passengers from central Madrid will be much more I'm sure.

Always check out the options using the Abono Regional Turístico de Transportes - covers the whole of the Comunidad de Madrid, plus Guadalajara and Toledo (cities) for E 10.40 for one day. All modes of transport. Bus MAY be best here - the AVE services tend to be very busy, and rather infrequent, in spite of user protests!
