Good For Solo
In the Heart of the Business district
The hotel is great for anyone staying in the business district of Madrid but it is a little far away from most of the toursity areas. The hotel lobby is beautiful and I expected the same from the hotel room they gave me. I only paid about 46 dollars and I should have known better when I pre-paid for my room that I wouldn't have a suite but I stayed in a room that was almost closet-sized. It was very difficult getting my very large bags into the room (I stayed in Spain for 2 months--so you can imagine the size of my bags since I am a woman in her early 20's). I had to walk over my bags everytime I went into the restroom since there was no room to put them. The hotel did have AC that worked...and the breakfast buffet was amazing. It wasn't that bad but I have stayed in hostals that were more comfortable.
Unique Quality: In the center of the business district. Not too close to the metros.
A place to stay
The place is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, but I wouldn't rate it that way.
My room was quite small and basic and the bathroom had seen better days. Didn't really like the colours of the carpet and the wallpaper, both something brownish-greenish. But all was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Well, it's an ok place to stay, but don't expect anything special.
