This old hotel is charming, clean and has a great location. The rooms are small, but nicely furnished and the bathrooms are excellent (good showers, plenty of room).
They have a tasty full breakfast (be sure to check when you make reservations to find out if it's included in your rate) and free internet - very handy.
Be sure to get an inside room, though. The outside rooms are larger and have nice views of the street, along with small balconies, but since the street musicians and crowds frequently go on until 4:00 a.m. these rooms are very noisy.
Unique Quality: Excellent central location in the heart of the old city, with shopping, restaurants, bars and the metro close by. You couldn't ask for a better location

In Madrid is difficult, in comparison to others cities in Europe, go with your pet in a hotel. Well in this hotel, very close to Puerta del Sol, center of Madrid, you can go with your pet. Of course, call before and ask it.
Excellent central location in the heart of the old city, with shopping, restaurants, bars and the metro close by. You couldn't ask for a better location
