Thanks you guys for the info., but seems bullfight and soccer on the same day and almost same time, have to give up either one.
By the way, is Madrid a safe city? I know about pickpocket, but is robbery to tourist popular there?

Travel Tips for Madrid

Palacio Real

by Sharrie

See a palace, naturally... PALACIO REAL is Madrid's most lavish royal palace & I found the Porcelain Room, a room fully decorated & covered with royal porcelain from the Buen Retiro factory most interesting.

Food/restaurant tickets

by vanessadb

Maybe some of you already knew about this, but I'm pretty sure that lots of you will be as amazed as me about this: in Spain most companies give you food tickets when you work for them. They are like checks allready written with an amount, that you can pay with at most of the restaurants. The company gives you a fixed daily amount, usually approximately 6 euros, so if you come to work from abroad don't forget to ask for them!

A brilliant and economic idea!

How it looks the name of the streets

by ezaguryk

Have you notice how the name of the street is seen, in the walls of the street. (Not how are called)........

Every street have his name and a drawing representative of the name of the street.

Very original and peculiar

It's Springtime in El Corte Ingles

by agarcia about El Corte Ingles

El Corte Ingles is the biggest Spanish department store, and you are most likely to pay a visit to them while in Madrid, especially to the extrategically-situated venue of Calle Preciados (right in the middle of the tourist area of the city). As a good decent department store, they sell every conceivable thing you can think of. As a general rule, they are slightly more expensive than the average shop in Madrid. The price you have to pay for variety, I guess.

Dance, Dance, Dance!

by africateach about Corleone

This place was too cool! We approach and the doorman walks us in and buys us all shots to start! Of course, I was with 4 other women so that probably helped! It had pics all over the walls of the godfather episodes! We walked to the back (not an easy task, so we danced!) and found a nook to put our drinks down so we could dance! Dress to impress! Everyone else is!
