Where to sleep in Madrid

by written on April 16, 2007

If you don't have to there is really no reason to book the hotel in Madrid. Madrid is full of small family run HOSTAL that are charming and inexpensive. If you arrive during the day just take a subway to Plaza del Sol and stroll around looking for the one that is perfect for you.

Unique Quality: Rooms are usually small and modest, but decor varies, from moderd to old local style.

Directions: you can find a hostal on almost every street around Plaza del Sol in Madrid
