Modest and clean Accomodations
Hostal Bruna in the heart of Madrid is a short 10 minute walk from Atocha train Station and is right across the street from the Prado which makes it in a highly desirable location. Also, right outside the hostal is a small square with a number of bars and restaurants where you can grab some late night tapas and sangria.
The hostal itself was clean and accomodating. They boast a family atmosphere and this I agree with since the family lives there as well. It was not uncommon to arrive at the hostal in the evening and to see the family all eating dinner. Every room has an ensuite and the offer hair dryers for your stay which they have at the front desk. Linens and towels are also provided.
