outlet mall advice

by MEMOS

HOLA...

Is there any other outlet mall except www.LasRozasVillage.com ... is it worth to go? How are the prices?

Thanks in advance

Re: outlet mall advice

by Belsaita

There is a Factory outlet too very close to Las Rozas. Worth to go? Not for me, but I guess it depends on each own. When I was living in Madrid I uesed to go there now and then, but just to kill a Saturday morning. Not sure it's worth the time and transport costs, even less if you are in Madrid just a few days

There was a Mango outlet shop in calle Fuencarral, and a Zara outlet in calle Carretas, both in the very city centre. I hope these are still there, I've not been in Madrid for a while

thanks alot..
do u know the address details_?

is there an outlet for CAMPER shoes??

Re: outlet mall advice

by Belsaita

I'm afraid can't remeber exact adresses
I never went to these outlet shops "on purpose", just saw them (and entered if I had the time) when going around
There was a Camper outlet at Factory. No idea if there are others elsewhere. There are many outlet-type shoes shops near Arguelles metro station (and it's a nice area for fashion shopping anyway) but can't remember any selling Camper (so I don't think there are... I LOVE Camper shoes)

If you look up these companies' websites, you'll probably be able to get address. Either that or Paginas Amarillas or some other such search engine. Dig a bit.

Veranos de la Villa

by Redang

Every summer, the City Hall of Madrid organizes a series of events such as concerts of all kind of music, theatre or ballet, normally, in the open air. Very nice indeed.

This year, from 1 July to 24 August 2.008.

A day trip to Toledo

by Jefie

The beautiful historic city of Toledo is one of the most popular daytrip destinations for people visiting Madrid. It's located within an easy 1h train, bus or car ride, and it offers a fantastic medieval atmosphere that is completely different from the one you'll find in Madrid. Since Toledo was at the top of my "daytrip wishlist", I went there with my friend Luis during my first weekend in Spain. I spent a day walking around the city's charming narrow streets, taking in the beauty and history of "The Glory of Spain". For more information, check out my Toledo travel page!

These are the 2 parallel streets going up from Plaza del Sol to Callao, there are lots of small shops and also huge El Corte Ingles. They are typical commercial streets closed for the traffic and always full of people.
