Hostal Rifer
Think it's dependant on the season, but, we paid around 18 GBP per night for a twin room with shower, toilet across the hall.
Unique Quality: If you're looking for cheap accommodation in Madrid, this is worth a try.
Brilliant location on Calle Mayor, close to the metro and right next to Puerta del Sol.
Clean and comfortable, family run and speak good English. Aren't we Brits lazy with languages?
