A special place
I haven't stayed there, my friends were there and it is very nice hotel, very close to Sol.
Unique Quality: Small and cosy hotel, great building from 19th C. and spectacular views of Plaza de Santa Ana.

Hotel in Plaza Santa Ana
Has anybody stayed at the "Hotel Miau" in the Plaza Santa Ana. It is fairly new and I am considering it instead of the Hostals I regularly stay when in Madrid.

NO but I have just booked to go to Madrid in March!!! and I need a hotel too! They all seem quite expensive so any help would be appreciated.

I have stayed several times at a basic but nice, safe, and centrally located "Hostal Cervantes." http://www.hostal-cervantes.com/
There are many others hostals around that area.
Also, if you check out the "Hotel Miau" (about 100 Euros/night) let me know what you think :-)

All I can say is Ive walked by it alot, it looks really cool, cosmopolitian. And the location is great, walking distance to everything, one block from the Huertas nightlife.
