Although located in a restored early 20th century Madrileño building, the Hotel Lusso Infantas interior is rather generic. Common areas are not very spacious and definitely do not stand out for their style or anything in particular. My room was comfortable and particularly large, with a huge bathroom. It overlooked Infantas Street, which may be a bit noisy on weekends.
The hotel location is excellent -close to the metro and most of the attractions downtown. Many trendy restaurants, bars and stores are also in the area, particularly in the adjacent Chueca district – the centre of the city's vibrant gay scene.
In my personal experience, the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. With its very reasonable rates, I am of the opinion that this hotel offers a good value-for-money for a budget-conscious last-minute city-break in Madrid.
