good staff, good location, great price
Unique Quality: Located in a central zone of Madrid, the NH Embajada is just steps from the Plaza de Alonso Martínez and very close to important focal points of the city like the Paseo de La Castellana and the Plaza de Colón.

I'm traveling to Madrid for the first time this fall. I'm looking for the best (cheap, yet not too complicated like changing lots of buses and/or walking too far) way to get from the Madrid Airport to the NH Embajada. The address is below:

Also, has anyone stayed at this particular hotel before? I don't know much about it, so any reviews would be helpful.

I'm afraid the last time I stayed there, the airport bus still went to Plaza Colon a 10-minute walk away (the first time I stayed there, it was an hostal, many many years ago!).

Nearest metro station is Alonso Martinez, by metro from Barajas you only need to change once, at Nuevos Ministerios, onto the blue line.
NH is a good chain hotel. I've stayed at another of their hotels and can recommend them.
