    A peaceful hotel near the Puetro Del Sol (literally the centre of Spain as all distances are measured from there). The hotel stands in a side street which is pedestrianised. There is very good double glazing and the air conditioning is blessed in August! Good breakfasts, on the fifth floor, where they provide free internet access for those who have withdrawal symptoms from their daily dose of spam! Comfortable rooms. Occasional noise from fellow guests if they manage to stay out til 4 or 5 am but limited.

    A pleasing hotel to which I would quite happily return the next time I am in Madrid. It does extremely hot water in a highly technical shower system! Very good for getting to everywhere else by Metro. The presence of the hotel staff is hardly noticeable - yet the breakfast is good (hot and cold buffet) and the check in and out efficient.

    • This hotel had an excellent location near the Puerto del Sol. The rooms were not large, but fine if you were not planning on spending the day in your room. I would definately stay here again, if I was returning to Madrid. It was an excellent starting point for any walk through the city. It is located in the pedestrian zone, so know where you want to be dropped if you take a taxi to the hotel.
