Spanish shops are open from 10 am till 2 pm and 5 pm till 8 pm. The big department stores are open all day from 10 till 8 pm. you can pay by creditcard in the msot shops, but smaller ones do refuse them. In january and jule there is selling season. look at the sighn rebajas. The most important department store is El Cort ingles, here you find everything you need for. On sundays and holidays you can go visit El Rastro, a flee market. its situated near the Plaza Cascorro. you can actually get things negotiating on a lower price.
