It's time to rub elbows!

During the intermission, socializing wasn't on my list. Not because I didn't have anything to say, but I felt inferior with my outfit. Men were in their tuxs and women in their gala dress. But hey! A little knowledge of Spanish became so handy. Of course, most of the spectators speak perfect English.

It was built between 1910 and 1911.

Check out the bright colours!
by cheapskate about Agatha Ruiz De La Prada
The picture should speak for itself... it's really chic.. the colours themselves can already lift your moods.
Agatha Ruiz De La Prada is one of the household names in Spain.. you probably see her stationery sold every.. Her clothes line for men, ladies and children are all carried in the El Cortes Ingles departmental stores.
I even got to meet and talk to Agatha in person. She's really really cool... totally friendly and no airs from her. Especially for those who love bright colours.. Very much different from the black and white norm. lip gloss and stationery costs about 2-20euros.. Clothes and bags costs about 20-150euros. This is a very rough gauge coz they have a wide range of items in the boutique.

There is a place like this in every big city. A club were you will find all sort of characthers: from the obvious tourist than never found the not so obvious clubs, to the yupiest locals. Let's admit it, all of us have been in places like this for different circunstances. Like it or not.
Most of us arrivied the same night and as usual we wanted to devore Madrid. Monday night the options were limited. We just needed a place where we could get some drinks and music. And being at a walking distance from home, it was the best option.
