You can take the Metro from the airport to the nearby BARAJAS stop and its a shortish walk. Just look at GOOGLE MAPS and search for your hotel.
Or better still they have a free shuttle service runs 24 hours a day. Just phone them when you arrive?

Two other important painters not to miss are Miro and Dali. Miro is a surrealistic painter and his paintings from the twenties are inspired by catalan popular art. such elements are to be seen in his "portrait 2" Dali, also a catalan, is also surrealsit as influenced by Frued. Surrealism is the depiction of subconscience without censorship or interferrence of the rational nmind. In the Dali room you find the famous "girl at the window" and the "Landscape at Cadaquez" girl at the window. a realsitic portrait amongst Dali's surrealist art

by HORSCHECK
The Killometer Zero Marker can be found at the south side of the Puerta del Sol just in front of the Communidad de Madrid building. The marker is the reference point for all Spanish road distances which are measured from here.
Stamps, Coins, Cards, even Bottle Tops
by Beach_dog about Stamp Market
A large stamp market held every Sunday at the Plaza Mayor.
Vendors sell all sorts of collectable items, but the main emphasis is on stamps and coins. It seems you can buy any Spanish stamp your collection needs as well as many foreign stamps. Coins range from Roman right through to the Euro.
I also saw many unusual items such as beer bottle tops, if only I'd thought they were collectable I'd have a big collection by now :0)
I first visited this market in 1970 and visiting again in 2003 brought back some nostalgic memories for me.
I also saw people at one corner, who had brought along there albums of duplicates, they check each others albums and swap the duplicates, a good idea and it costs nothing. Haggle, bring the price down.
