The breakfast and lounge area at the TRYP Cibeles is very warm and comfortable. This is looking toward the breakfast area.
For the price, this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Modern, comfortable rooms, a big lobby. It's just that there it no entry as you take the elevator to the first floor and then the hotel starts. In July 2004 I booked a double that included breakfast for 2 for 95 euro per night. The breakfast was an excellent buffet that included fruits, meats, eggs, bacon, sausage, sweet rolls, etc, etc. The staff were very helpful
I will be staying at Hotel Tryp Cibeles in late September. I'd be very interested in any reviews of this hotel. I am a non-smoker, and I'd be interested in any other non-smoker's comments i.e. cigarette smell in rooms, availability of non-smoking rooms etc.

Spain is a country of smokers. I'm spanish but I reckon smoker people are not polite with non smokers. Anyway I slept two months ago in a non smoker room of Tryp Cibeles. Hotel was really nice (even if the entrance is rather peculiar) , service and rooms also. Excellent breakfast!
