Church and Stork/CigogneTorrejon de Ardoz: Not a touristic destination
Apparently and according to people living in the neighbourhood, not much is to be found in this city for a tourist. For me, it was a place to find a hotel much easier and cheaper than in Madrid, full even in the middle of winter!
Streets are quite large, bordered by large buildings, such as 'Avenida de la Constitucion' (picture). The centre mainly consists of a shopping street, a church and la plaza Mayor (see General Tips).
The city is very (too) calm, a little bit less during special holidays, like carnival. It's a place to sleep, with easy and fast train connection to Madrid or Alcala (see Transportation Tip).
