Hi to everyone.I am going to Caceres in late May and I am having trouble finding accomodation.Does anybody know of a reasonably priced Hotel/hostal close to the bus station.Thanks for any suggestions.

sorry, i am not in madrid now! and i can't remember of teh the nice hostel i was in caceres! it was in plaza mayor, clean and cheap! i will send you a message on monday for you!

Thanks Eva for any information you can give me. I was thinking that there must be a festival or something on at the time we are going to Caceres as all the places I have been enquiring about are booked out for the times that I want to go.Thanks again. Bye.
Another detail i found fascinating were the nests on top of high buildings, usually the churchs' towers.
And the piggeons flying over you and over the buildings, and then hidding in small holes in the buildings ancient stones.
The Casa de los C?ceres Ovando ( C?ceres Ovando's House ) is commonly called Palacio de las Cig?en?s" ( Stork's Palace ). It was built in the 15th century by D. Diego de C?ceres Ovando. The house has a huge square tower, the only one that wasn?t destroyed by order of the Queen Isabel la Cat?lica. Nowadays it houses the Comandancia Militar de C?ceres ( C?ceres' Military Headquarter ).
