Take metro. It's unexpensive, clear and fast.

I think is simpler to combine metro and train. You´ll have to pay for two different tickets (both unexpensive, however) but you will get much faster and you´ll have to do less changes.
Get the metro at the airport (You will be in Line 8) and go to Nuevos Ministerios (is the final station of the line), then, change to train (follow the Cercanias word if you´re not sure where to go), and once you have passed the ticket machines get to platform 2. There will be a train every 3 or 4 minutes. All of them will leave you in Atocha in 10 minutes (Atocha is the second station after Nuevos Ministerios).

Travel Tips for Cáceres

The magic is in the air

by micas_pt

Every building is a monument, ... it's really amazing. You must keep looking up, since there are archs, balconies, windows, so many details, ... Every single little detail is fascinating and makes you travel some centuries ago, imagining the people on the street, the horse-drawn carriages, those curious clothes, the calm pace of life, ...

Everything is so perfect, almost too much perfect, ... like a movies scenario!!

Iglesia de San Francisco Javier

by micas_pt

The Iglesia de San Francisco Javier ( San Francisco Javier Church ) is a 18th century Barroque style church that followed the one built in Rome by Compa??a de Jes?s ( Society of Jesus ). The altarpiece has a painting that represents San Francisco Javier's miracle. This church is also known by the name of "La Preciosa Sangre" because it is taken care by the Brotherwood with the same name.
