getting to caceres
I am trying to get to caceres and am not sure of the best way from Barajas airport. I want to take the train at puerta de atocha. what is the best way to puerta de atocha from barajas airport?
Re: getting to caceres
Take metro. It's unexpensive, clear and fast.
Re: Re: getting to caceres
I think is simpler to combine metro and train. You´ll have to pay for two different tickets (both unexpensive, however) but you will get much faster and you´ll have to do less changes.
Get the metro at the airport (You will be in Line 8) and go to Nuevos Ministerios (is the final station of the line), then, change to train (follow the Cercanias word if you´re not sure where to go), and once you have passed the ticket machines get to platform 2. There will be a train every 3 or 4 minutes. All of them will leave you in Atocha in 10 minutes (Atocha is the second station after Nuevos Ministerios).
Re: getting to caceres
I'm travelling to Caceres in two weeks time for competitions and i have a question. How much time it will take me to go from the Madrid airport to the train station? and should i buy tickets for the train in advance.
Thank you very much for your reply
