Hotel close to the Hercules Tower
This is a 4 star accomodation; and the location is very very close to the Hercules Tower, but it is about 15 minutes bus ride, or a good 40 mins walk from the city centre.
The room we got was much much larger than others, perhaps they gave us a better room becos we booked directly or perhaps we stayed there for 4 nights. Not sure...but it was very pleasant, wooden floors really mopped cleaned by the housekeepers. And with airconditioning we still welcomed the wonderfully refreshing sea breeze. Our rooms faces part of the Celtic park which was marvelous. Has satelite tv.
Unique Quality: The only setback was there was no business centre but you can use the computer in the sitting area which cost 5 euro for 10 mins!! charged on the credit card. The connection was excellent but there is only ONE terminal!!!
You can really walk to the Celtic Park and onto the Hercules Tower in minutes - it is awesome.
3 buses come every 10 mins till late in the evening...going into the city, to Maria Pita sq, and to the shopping malls as well. So it was rather nice. each ride is 87 cents euro.
