You must visit the Museum of the Human Kind, the Electricity Museum the Torre de Hercules and, of course if you are afootball fan, Riazor stadium when Deportivo La Coruna - especially a Champions League game or a Primera Division game against Real Madrid or Celta Vigo.
If talking about shopping, visit 'El Corte Ingles' and 'Carrefour'.
The Picasso quarter is nice as well Walking aside the large street from the Torre de Hercules to the Harbour or aside Riazor beach.
The Museum of the Human Kind.
Walk Along the Beach
One thing which surprised me about La Coruna is the fact that right on the doorstep of the city centre lies a fab beach which stretches along the western side of the penisula which the city sits on.
Well worth a walk along the Avenida Pedro Barrie de la Meza which is the road which runds along the back of the beach, where you will be rewarded with numerous smart sculptures, see the pic for the smartest one depicting 2 surfers riding a wave!!!
La Coruna, Spain.
A Hidden Gem. The nicest place i have been to in Spain, La Coruna is difficult to get to, but well worth it when you do. A virtual holiday resort, but it hasn't been found by the holiday makers yet. Catch it before they do!!
