Ourense city has many thermal springs (most of them free), see:

Here you can see pics of the thermal springs where A Chavasqueira spring has two zones: the free one and the paying one (only for 3 € you have services like cafeteria, locker and bath room, and 5 zones of different temperatures).
All of these thermal springs are on the right bank of Miño river.

Moreover, Ourense has a beautiful old city with restaurants of galician food (spanish and portuguese recipies too), bars with galician petiscos (tapas) and many popular festivals: carnival (february-march), Os maios (may), Corpus and 'seefood festa' (june), Os remedios (september), Magosto (november).
