What was good was that we were given a dorm room for the 3 of us to ourselves instead of making us fill and share a dorm with others. Good heating in the room and the facilities were clean and good hot water. Of course being on the pilgrims route it was very noisy at daybreak, or before daybreak, when many were getting up and going and it was noticed by all of us how easily the doors slammed and were noisy in the bathrooms.
It was fairly cheap at about 12 euro each but then we realised after wed paid it didnt include the bed linen so we had to add another 4 euro each. but still not too badly priced apart from the fact that with all the time it took to get there we might have got a better deal in town! the breakfast next morning was an excellent bonus too that put the place ahead!
The guy on reception didnt speak much english and when discussing breakfast for the next morning we seemed to have established that it was the standard youth hostel breakfast for about 4 euro each. when we did go up to the huge cafeteria we found there was an option of the most amazing buffet breakfast in all my travels ive ever seen! i am so regretful i didnt take photos!! and it was unlimited buffet with such an enormous selection of excellent quality foods and drinks for only 7 euro per person. we took at least an hour over breakfast that day having breakfast and lunch in one!!
