You probably want to try Santiago de Compostela - most people rave about it. Whether or not you like it take a bus out to Muros - both inland and sea views are terrific and the top two of the West facing rias are less built-up than the others.
Muros has a very pleasant harbour area and an interesting old area.
I have been to O'Grove for 2 weeks to make a spanish course at the Academia Atlantica.
It was very nice and here is the page of this area of Galizia O'Grove/Vigo/Combados/Pontevedra that I have seen.
