Do your own circular tour - I start at Pontevedra because that is where I suggest staying. Pontevedra to Cangas by bus, Cangas to Vigo by ferry, Vigo to Pontevedra by train. Great views of both southernmost rias. Bus from Baiona to Vigo also gives outstanding views of Ria de Vigo and the Islas Cies. Octopus - mainly enjoyed at Pontevedra but Vigo equally good - cheap and delicious!
Puerta del Sol is the end of a long pedestrian shopping street, where it meets another busy street, forming a triangular open space filled with motorbikes, mopeds and scooters. Standing tall above all this is a statue known as El Sireno, half-man half-god-knows-what! Fish maybe?
