Wish the staff had been as nice as the room
Arrived at Los Augustinos after a short walk from the bus stop thru a lovely town! The hotel is conveniently located and is an amazing structure. The rooms are simple, but nice on a European standard, and the restaurant is almost fantastic. Unfortunately, I found the hotel staff (specifically those working the front desk) incredibly rude and unaccomodating. I admit that I probably butchered their language, but I can say I always greeted them in Spanish and asked - in Spanish - to please speak English. I dare say I was met with hostility and actually hung up on twice!!! Any questions I asked were either ignored or answered with a great deal of sighing and eye-rolling. I felt very unwelcome. That said, there's not much of a selection when it comes to staying in Haro. So I recommend skipping it altogether.
Unique Quality: The hotel has an incredible courtyard! It's HUGE, smartly decorated, very relaxing.
