I came without having a reservation, just knowing that there are not that many possibilities of lodging in Melilla. I hope for them to have a room available, and they did. It is a fairly large hotel with many rooms, which, now after seeing Melilla, I doubt they ever fill up. There are four floors of rooms, the fifth is the restaurant with a great view of the city.
My room was 301 on the third floor, with a balcony from where I enjoyed watching the sunset. The room was clean, bathroom had several towels and a shower/bath. There was good internet connection in the room and the staff at the reception was nice.
The only thing I was disappointed with was the breakfast, which consisted only of pastry and a small butter and marmelade cube, accompanied by coffee and not fresh juice ... This I would see as something that the hotel should definitely improve.
Unique Quality: Its central location is great.
Directions: It is very near the Placa de Espana and the Hernandez park, two minutes from the ramparts of Old Melilla - Melilla la Vieja. There is a tourist information office just accross from the end of Vallesca street.
