Escape at the middle of night
After driving into the city at around midnight, off-season, we were a bit surprised that the first 3 hotels we checked didn't have any free rooms and reception staff with practically no English language skill.
Hesperia Murcia had very cordial English speaking receptionists and the price at EUR 59 seemed like a very good deal.
