El Cortes Ingles?

Hi,

There is a carpark under the Store.... just follow the signs. It is a busy town, so be very cautious.... there is good parking at the Harbour too and open a little later than the one under La Corte Ingles.

Salzillo museum Iglesia Nuestro Padre Jesus

by benidormone

The Salzillo museum is really something special. When you enter you go with the elevator to the top of the building. It is than really fascinating to discover that the museum is built around the Church of Nuestro Padre Jesus. The church was built by Francisco Montiyuelo and Blas Lopez . In the 18th century the façade was completely remodelled and restored in the twentieth century. It became a museum in 1960 of the works of Francisco Salzillo. It was completely renewed in 2003 and the most important pieces are the 556 figures of the world famous Christmas Cribis. The brilliant wood carver lived from 1707 till 1781.

My trip to Murcia

"Murcia-Beautifull small city"

Murcia is a city you can walk all around, it is small and rich in gardens, old world architechture.
The thing I like the most about this city is the fact that around of many cornners you find beautiful ancient buildings and churches. There is also ¨La Manga¨ beach area very popular among the north europeans on the summer months.
Very tradicional Catholic rites all over the year. Nice and pictoric. If you are able, Murcia is a good place to go away from the cold of the hard winter months, there is night fun all year long and the region is developing very fast. A good place to invest in real state.
