"2 day Murcia tour"
We started our 2 day tour of Murcia by stopping in San Pedro.. at the beach of Villananitos... which I researched on the net and found out about the mud baths there.
It's a must do if you're in the area.... forget La Manga.. this is the end to be. Take a picnic with you and sit on one of the benches and people watch for a couple of hours.
"The mud people"
Do take the time for a promenade along the strip.... and look at the people smearing themselves with mud. the mud has oodles of mineral qualities that brings people far and wide to paint themselves dark grey with it then sit in the sun til it dries off.
Washing it off in the sea will reveal fresh and soft skin. We spotted people taking mud home in large bottle and containers. the whole prom has been wonderfully done and there are ramps and steps down into the shallow waters which will enable everyone to partake.
We didn't partake, as we had the Harley parked at the end of the prom with all our stuff in the back of it... but we'll go back someday and paint each other black!! Do make sure you take a towel to dry off... and maybe a book to read whilst you're waiting for it to dry on you - and a camera of course, who can resist a picture like that!!
