Travel from Biarritz and Bilbao via Taxi/ Transfer

by jasa

Hi all, have a party of 06 travelling from Biarritz and 02 from Bilbao. Can anyone recommend a good taxi company that will offer a transfer service from the two airports to Pamplona?

Many thanks in advance for your help...

RE: Travel from Biarritz and Bilbao via Taxi/ Transfer

A taxi would be crazy expensive, from Bilbao airport I would get a taxi to Termibus, the bus terminal, and from there a bus to pamplona, 2 hours and very nice and comfortable, and cheap!
From Biarritz don´t know... but I´ll try to do the same, bus to San Sebastian and then Pamplona.

Travel Tips for Pamplona

Best seats for the Run

by Roadquill

During the Running of the Bulls, If you don't want to pay 25 euro for a balcony seat, get theri early enough to find a ledge on a building that overlooks the run. Kind of tough to hold a camera while trying to keep from falling off the ledge.

Parading ocal town bands

by Roadquill

During the San Fermin Festival (July 7 thru the 14) many local towns arrive with their respective band, mostly of horns. They play their songs while marching through town with their local enthusiats dancing and marching with them. They play extra load whle passing a marching band from another town.

Iglesia de San Lorenzo

by mikey_e

The Iglesia de San Lorenzo is an impressive church that is half-church, half-fortress. The original church was built in the 14th century, but was destroyed - leaving almost nothing of the original Gothic architecture. The current church was designed in a neo-Classical style during the 18th century and eventually erected at the beginning of the 19th century. Actually, just the copula was designed in the 18th century, as the renovated façade of the 18th century church was destroyed during bombardments in the 19th century (it was Baroque), leading to the construction of the current façade in 1901. In truth, the interior is not very impressive if you've visited Santa María in the morning, so try to plan your itinerary the other way around.

WHEN BULLS ARE GONE

by morganna

I'm afraid most of you maybe know Pamplona just for its famous San Fermin, with the bull curses in the street.
Well, I'm sure this is an amAzing tradition and, why not, really funny. I recongnize that when I went to Pamplon it was just a stop to sleep and to leave for a few day trips... But I found in Pamplona something charming and great: the city and the people that hosts the festival. I stayed more than I have planned!
