Apartamentos Monachil: Apartments

These are self catering apartments with a small kitchen. The apartments are well maintained and cleaned every day. The location of these apartments is excellent as they are situated in Pradollano, which is the main square of Sierra Nevada, on top of the car park. The ski passes, restaurants, bars and shops are situated in this square. The only thing which we did complain about this apartment was that we were seven persons, and the apartment was a bit small for seven people.

Hotel Rumaykiyya: Hotel Rumaykiyya

Very pleasant stay in this hotel with spacious rooms. It does have a parking area which is excellent becuase parking in Sierra Nevada is an upsolute nightmare. The service is great and it does have its own restaurant. It is a five star hotel.

This hotel I beleive is the highest hotel in the resort, the ski lift is just beside the entrance. The views are excellent due to its location. The only problem is that at the evening if you plan to go out to a restaurant or the bars down in the resort you would have to drive your car as taxis may not be available, but during the day time you just use the ski lift.

el molino: Orgiva hotel

We stayed for two nights at a lovely place tucked off the main street of orgiva. Managed by a really charming sweet spaniard, happy to give us lots of languages tips.

we arrived in the orgiva carnival/fiesta sept 29,30, oct 1st,

a small market town with a few fun bars and good access to the surrounding hills.

Has a small pool in the court yard, wonderful smelling jasmine and other plants,
beds are ok, rooms have wonderful high ceilings, not very busy.
