i want to travel to stockholm from karlskrona so can you tell me everything about that

Re: tips for

You could either go by bus or train. Since prices vary depending on when you are going to travel I recommend that you check both.

You can search for trains here
http://www.sj.se/sj/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=10&l=en

And buses here

i opened the link but i didnt got any information i thought of travelling on june 10th so can ou tell me now

Re: tips for

For trains you have to type minimum the first 2 letters in "from" and "to" and then select from the drop down menu and select a date..

For bus you have to select "From" and "To" from the drop down menu and select a date and time.

Re: tips for

I did not put in any destinations or dates in the first links. You should be able to fill in and do your search from those links yourself.

But since you now have a date I did the search for you.

There seem to be trains every or every second hour for most of the day. If you book now, the price will be from about 400 SEK to 1500 SEK depending on type of ticket and time of the day.

There seem to be 2 buses, one at 9:35 am which is direct, price right now 228 SEK. The other one includes an overnight stay in Malmo so I do not think that is an option.

All prices mentioned are for one adult.

Re: tips for

by HansDK

SEK 228 is for a child. Price for an adult is SEK 304.

The second bus departing Karlskrona 15:55 does not include an overnight stay in Malmo. There is a change of bus in Malmo and a waiting time in Malmo of 3h05m. Bus from Karlskrona arrives 19:05 and departs for Stockholm 22:10 - arriving Stockholm next morning 06:20 - Ticket price for an adult is SEK 397.

Sorry, I was a bit too fast.

Re: tips for

To avoid having to go for hours down to Malmö first, I would check the connections with local buses/trains from Karlskrona to Kalmar (if you want to travel when there are no direct train that is) since that is a short journey, and then from Kalmar there are coaches to Stockholm. But there seems plenty of connections - just use this:

Frederikskyrkan

by Igraine

On the Stortoget is the Fredrikskyrkan. Its a major focal point when walking in the city. On one side you walk to the historical harbour side on the other side of the square are the main shopping streets (with some very nice shops indeed!).
On the Stortoget are furthermore a few restaurants along the side

Most people don´t get the chance to go sailing, but we had luck, since one of the guys in the class had a sailing boat (or his parents had) and they took us for a ride.

It was really a lot of fun...

Beauty on the Baltic

by jconn0403

A wonderful town on the Baltic Sea with some wonderful sites (and sights) to see. The Maritime Museum is a must for everyone along with the Admiral's Church (don't forget to give "Old Rosenbom a coin or two) and the Blekinge Museum. Stop by the bakery behind the Town Hall - Fantastic!

Igraine's new Karlskrona Page

by Igraine

This city used to be a major navalport. There is alot to see from that past. A major part of the city including the harbourside is on the world heritage list.
In the newly openend Marin museum (2000)you can see everything from the past and visit some more modern ships like a minesweeper.
