Sahlene and IHow did I know Sahlene?
Got quite a lot of people asked me this so I'm gonna write you a full version here :)
I've had this Swedish friend who was a DJ at a university he studied at. He asked me if I wanted to hear some music from a Swedish band and I said yes. He sent me an mp3 of one song and the first time I heard it I thought wow the lead singer had such a great voice I haven't heard in a while. I told him I liked that song a lot. The band(Rhythm Avenue) went to that university to play so he got her contact info and he was kind enough to give them to me too. I sent her an email, she replied and we got in touch since then. I can't remember when exactly but I think it was in 1998.
We met 8 times already! 3 times in Thailand, 3 times in Sweden and once in China and once in NYC.
