Sudersands camping: Camping

Fårö is yet another island with campsites near the sea. At Sudersand, this means 50 metres to the beach, although do not ask me about the facilities as I only know of the little cafe and souvenir shop at the reception area. During my break here I passed people speaking all sorts of European languages so it really is a mix of people staying here. A bit further along the road is Sudersand Holiday Village where you can rent cottages instead if you prefer to. It was out here that Olof Palme used to come to play tennis when he had a cottage at the north-eastern corner of the island.
