Nice Little Hotel
Have been staying in this hotel several times. It's a cozy, but very nice hotel right in the center of Östersund. The rooms are clean and light. Hotel is fully non-smoking, but there is a balcony for smokers as well. The breakfast is good. You may always have a cup of tee or coffee in the lobby throughout the day. Reception is closed from 22:00 until early in the morning, but if there are late arrivals, the staff will wait for you to handle the key. Once we were leaving very early and the girl working at the reception came to the hotel at 5:00 to prepare breakfast for the whole group.
Lots of little shops and restaurants around, very close to the lake, bus station (with an internet cafe), supermarkets, the town hall and the tourist center.
Apparently prices are negotiable for groups. For a group of 9 people we paid something like 50 Eur per night.
I would highly recommend this hotel for those going to Östersund for business or fun.
