Are there any Vt members who are going to Jönköping for a holiday or who live there and want to meet up? Hmm just a thought :)
Any areas around Jönköping will be great too!
No plans to go at the moment but I sometimes visit my aunt in nearby Eksjö as well as my best friends who are all in Göteborg. How long will you stay?

I will be in Sweden till late December this year. Will be studying in Jönköping and staying in Skövde, so thought it would be great to sightsee around the area a little. Too bad the other forums like Gränna are deserted!
doh! too bad this is a few months later...i was there in june...would have been great to meet up with some fellow VT people in jonkoping. oh well...maybe next time

Well, let me know if you are going south (Malmö, Lund...) during your stay and I will let you know if I go north-west :-)))
Gränna and Visingsö are places you should not miss.
In Gränna you'll also find the Andrée Museum, where Engineer Andrée's expedition to the North Pole in a hot-air balloon is documented. The island of Visingsö offers many historic places, like the castle ruins and has very clean beaches.
