I was walking around Östra Storgatan and came out towards Hamnparken and found this sculpture just near the road (and the inlet of water).
It's a different kind of sculpture, but I thought it was quite nice. Seven pieces of wood with carvings and pictures on them. 'Sju sekler' (I think) means 'Seven Centuries' and reflects the several centuries in Jönköpings history.
The artist of this sculpture is Calle Örnemark and was presented to the city of Jönköping on its 700 year jubilee on the 18th of May, 1984.
