Hotel Nore: Friendly and good location



Unique Quality: A quite ordinary hotel but what makes it special is the service from the owner. He is back to refill the breakfast buffet in no time despite also doing other things. When we met him in town he left a message for me there and then etc. etc. The rooms are also quite big and comfy even if the decor is 1960s.

Lysingsbadet: Blue Flag beach camping

Lysingsbadet is a five star camp site which also lets holiday chalets.

Unique Quality: It is by the sea so it has its own beaches AND cliffs as well as a toboggan and a good playground (with an elk as you can see). The main beach has an EU Blue Flag as the water quality is superb. Apart from that there is a restaurant, café, mini golf, souvenir shop, adventure pool, playground and buses to town during summer as it is a few kilometres outside the centre. It is very near Korparholmarna - a little mini archipelago (see separate coverage).
