Anything that is not too heavy to carry since you will be carrying your bag a lot from train to train or bus. The weather is unpredictable. If you come during the winter be sure to take your warmest clothes because it can be very cold here. During the rest of the year bring warm clothes, and some cooler clothes, but no matter what do not forget your raincoat!
See the new library here in town. You do not have to like libraries to appreciate the beauty of this one. It was recently built after ht old one burnt down and is a great place to put your feet up and relax.
The beautiful triptych was made in 1935 by the Norwegian artist Henrik Sorensen.
The motif of the triptych is the resurrected Jesus Christ accompanied on both sides by prophets, saints and Christians.
This very modern triptych replaced the Dutch one dating from 1530, which is now displayed in the southern aisle.
Linkoping Old Town is a site where old houses and paved streets are presented as they were in the town a hundred years ago.
This is the right place to learn more about living and working in Linkoping a century ago.
I have been living in Linköping for about a year and a half now. It is a nice city and feels deceptively smaller than it really is. The best time to see this city is in late April and May when the weather starts to turn warm and there are still lots of students out and about.
