Visit the industry landscape. Norrköping has many remainings of its old textile industry, that are monuments now. It's a great area for photographers! The industrial site, with its theatre and conference centre is, funny enough, called De Geer, after is dutch founder.
Himmelstalunds Swimmingpool

Himmelstalundsbadet is an outdoor area with a free entrance with a big swimming pool, a childrens swimming pool, beach volley ball field, a cafeteria and showers and locker rooms.
It's open from the beginning of june until the end of august. A warning though, since it's free on a hot day it's very crowded.
The Tube

The Tube (Tuben) is an 3 meter wide old steel water pipe to a water power plant that has been preserved, the walls of the cylinder has been cut up to form a passage along the great waterfall.
The waterfall it runs along is over 100 meters wide and at night it is lit up from behind in a myriad of colors. One of the most dramatic and beautiful sights in Norrköping.
Art Museum

Norrköping Art Museum has one of Swden's largest collections of modern Swedish modernism paintings. Started by a donation of several hundred of well renown paintings of Pehr Swartz. The collection has been expanded with focus on 20th century art.
Flimmer Movie Festival

Flimmer is southeast Sweden's biggest independent film organisation and it arranges a free Open air cinema in the summer(see separate tip), open air cinema tour and the 'Norrkoping Filmfestival Flimmer'. A very popular annual movie festival that takes place in october and screen popular movies, independant movies, short films as well as events and lectures about movies and moviemaking.
