going to Helsingborg on a cruise and don't like their tour packages. Can we ferry across to see Kronberg castle on our own? Does it require a lot of walking once we get across? Would we be better off going to the Dunkers Cultural Museum? Thanks!

The ticket costs are: Adult 48 SEK, Children 4-14 year 26 SEK.
The ferry goes every 20 minute and there is no need for reservations.

Dunkers is nice but at the end of the day Kronborg is a World Heritage...
Travel Tips for Helsingborg
Traveled to beautiful and...
Traveled to beautiful and tranquel town of Kristansted.
It was one pretty late October day, sun was setting far far awayin the horizon when my wife and I walked along a slow running river.
We both felt like we were been floated in total relaxed way by the beauty of the place. We both realy felt the calm in our hearts and in our minds.
Well worth a visit.
The cosy city centre
Just walk around the city centre, it's characterized by old, small houses and buildnings and small shops. But if you're going to buy beer or alcohol I really suggest that you leave the shopping for Denmark instead. Denmark is cheaper when it comes to Beer and Alcohol. But Sweden is cheaper average.
School Museum
Helsingborg has a school musseum.
It's a small museum, but with a quite good display. There is no signs in english though, but maybe (!) they have a leaflet in english.
The museum displays the artefacts used in the school, but also gives a view of how the teaching was carried out.
Statue on the dock
I did find this unusual statue on top of a large pole right on the docks near the ferry. I am always attracted to unusual street art and this little statue was very unusual. This was my last impression of Helsingborg before boarding the ferry and returning to Helsingor.
