See Lund with Lundagard, the Domkyrka (Cathedral) and the area of the University The unique atmosphere of this fine university town. I really regret that I did not study here - at least for a year if not all my studies.

There are about 400 organizations of varying kinds, and the sights of Lund are well worth a visit, even if you are not a tourist. Lund offers a great selection of pubs, restaurants, caf?s, theatres and concerts.
Care for nature..

...and go by bike! Everyone - small or big, rich or poor, old or young, black or white, well everyone take their bike when they want to go from one place in Lund to another. At least when the weather isn't too crappy.
This is the city of bikes!
Marten's Square
by AcornMan
On a nice day you'll enjoy strolling around Marten's Square and looking at the kiosks selling food and various merchandise. Then have a seat at one of the cafes surrounding the square and enjoy a refreshing drink while you watch the people go by.
Kulturen Open Air Museum
by Sjalen
One of the oldest open air museums in Scandinavia, this museum ("the Culture") houses buildings from all over southern Sweden, both beautiful and historical. Apart from that, the museum houses exhibitions on Lund history (which to a Swede means Danish history until mid 17th century!), other historical facts, fashion and textile and other art related things. In the garden and at the entrance you will find several viking rune stones and the restaurant has a decent buffet. See more pictures in my travelogue.
