Shopping for gift basket
My husband is presently on assignment in Lund for 6 months. Are there any on-line stores/websites where I can order a food- type gift basket to be sent to him at his apartment? I have tried looling on-line but I all I keep coming upwith are international floral deliveries...any help would be appreciated - my anniverary is this week - the first we have spent apart in 31 years!

They don't have a page in English but you can e-mail to: info@sendly.se or phone 0046 771-242400 to customer services.
Click on "Kärlek och Romantik" (love and romance) and you will find an Italian dining hamper, but if you think that makes him feel lonely, you can click on just about anything and find various alternatives such as fruit, coffee or sweets. They do payments with VISA and some other credit cards.
Another one is this company near Lund where you can get a "deli-hamper" and various fruit and chocolate ones:

You can find their contact details under "Kontakta oss" to the left on the page. You will have to contact them about payment too as I cannot find anything on credit cards there but only giros, although they DO mention special deliveries.
Travel Tips for Lund
The city center
The city center is worth a stop, here you can walk around in 'Lundagård', see Univeristy or 'Kulturen' which is a famous museum. IF you don't like that kind of stuff, just walk around the city center, Lund has a population of 100,000 so it is not very small!
Take time to observe the rainbows in Skane
When touring the outskirts of Lund and in the countryside, you might be lucky enough to catch a rainbow or two over a farmer's field. Many of the farms around Lund produce peas, sugar beets, and barley.
Kulturen
As far as Swedish museums go, you can't find many that are better than Kulturen. The world´s second-oldest open-air museum, the collections fill two blocks and include around 40 historic buildings.
There is also an area for exhibitions, which when I was there was taken up by a display of underwear from the 17th century to modern designer items (some wonderful corsets!).
Old, white and beautiful
Ok, so I guess all of you already know that Lund is a univerity town, one of the biggest in Sweden. This is the main university building, also the oldest one (about 350 years old). It's in Lundagård, in the middle of Lund, and without doubt worth to see if you want to take some good pictures of something very "Lundish"!
